When President Obama was in office, I often prayed for him and Michelle. I felt moved to create something special just for her because she stood so strongly next to Barack, wearing that beautiful smile of hers looking elegant and poised. Although the journey wasn't easy, she handled it all with such grace, authenticity and heart, inspiring so many women like me. I hand designed a card for Michelle with my artwork and heartfelt words to show my support and admiration. This is the letter and photo I received in the mail from her in response. I've held onto it since 2012 but feel compelled to share it now as a reminder of just how phenomenal she truly is.
